GTS Solutions Vietnam announces plans to build a modern EV charging station and two-story diner complex in Ho Chi Minh City – Vung Tau with 22 fast-charging points, dining services, and a vision to expand nationwide.

EV Charging Station and Diner Complex for Green Mobility

VUNG TAU, July 2025 – GTS Solutions Vietnam Co., Ltd. has officially announced an ambitious plan to build an EV charging station and diner complex in Ho Chi Minh City – Vung Tau. This development aims to provide a fast, convenient, and enjoyable charging experience for EV owners while promoting the adoption of electric vehicles and sustainable tourism in Vietnam.

The project combines a large-scale EV charging hub with a modern two-story diner, following the “charge & dine” model popularized in countries like the United States.

Project Scale

Site Area: approximately 1,000 m²

Charging Infrastructure:

* 16–22 DC fast-charging stations (120–180 kW, CCS2 standard)

* 4–6 AC chargers (22 kW, Type 2 standard)

Capacity: able to charge 18–24 EVs simultaneously, compatible with VinFast VF8, VF7, VF5, BYD, Tesla, and other EV brands.

Diner & Coffee Shop: two-story building with food and beverage services, outdoor seating, large LED outdoor movie screens, and solar-powered parking.

Goals and Impact

According to CEO of GTS Solutions Vietnam:
“Our goal is to provide a high-quality EV charging service combined with an enjoyable dining and relaxation experience. This project will support EV adoption, create jobs, and contribute to green tourism development in the Vung Tau – Ho Chi Minh City region.”

The project is expected to generate 50–70 direct jobs and promote green mobility infrastructure in southern Vietnam.

Implementation Timeline

  1. Phase 1: Legal procedures and technical design (Q3 2025)
  2. Phase 2: Construction and equipment installation (Q4 2025 – Q1 2026)
  3. Phase 3: Trial operation and grand opening (mid-2026)

Expansion Strategy

Following the success of the Vung Tau EV charging station and diner complex, GTS Solutions Vietnam plans to replicate this model in major cities and highway rest stops nationwide, targeting 50 integrated charging and service complexes by 2030. This long-term strategy aligns with the government’s roadmap for EV adoption and contributes to building a green transportation ecosystem.

Why It Matters?

The rise of electric vehicles (EVs) in Vietnam has created an urgent need for high-capacity charging infrastructure. Projects like this EV charging station and diner complex help solve two key issues:
– Convenient EV charging to reduce range anxiety for drivers
– Comfortable resting points that enhance customer experience during charging sessions

By integrating technology, renewable energy (solar power), and customer service, GTS Solutions Vietnam aims to become a leader in EV infrastructure investment in Vietnam.
